Kartik is the month of LOVE…
There is a special time in nature for animals in lower species; it’s called the mating season. The four legged animals make the best enjoyment in this season. Similarly amongst humans there is the spring season or just after winter etc. Similarly for spiritually inclined people there are special moments when they can explore and experience deep love, bonding, union and shelter with the Lord of their hearts – KRISHNA. And that ‘season’ most conducive for growing Love in our hearts is the month of KARTIK.
During this time devotees find it easier to remember Krishna and it’s the best time to offer our hearts and love. This month Krishna easily accepts our fervent appeals, sincere repentance, heartfelt emotions, much much more than other time of the year. That’s bcoz in this month Krishna is just too excited about his loving parts and parcels who have seperated from him….He gets desperate to connect to us. But we have to take the first step.
So let’s make the best of this month by singing His favourite pastime – Damodar Lila daily…..
